D\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Zenovia Interactive et \u00e9dit\u00e9 par Retroware, il est disponible sur PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation et Nintendo Switch.<br>Je l\u2019ai test\u00e9 sur Xbox Series et j\u2019ai termin\u00e9 l\u2019aventure en mode novice apr\u00e8s plusieurs heures pass\u00e9es \u00e0 comprendre les m\u00e9caniques et la difficult\u00e9 du jeu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">Neon Inferno est un run and gun 2D en pixel art situ\u00e9 dans un New York cyberpunk en 2055. On y incarne Angelo Morano ou Mariana Vitti, deux assassins travaillant pour Don Venatori. Leur mission : \u00e9liminer les cibles qui menacent la famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:30px\"><strong>Un gameplay simple\u2026 mais terriblement exigeant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">Le gameplay est simple dans ses commandes, mais tr\u00e8s exigeant dans son ex\u00e9cution.<br>On dispose d\u2019une roulade pour esquiver, d\u2019un saut qui aide aussi \u00e0 \u00e9viter des attaques, d\u2019un tir classique et d\u2019un couteau pour renvoyer certains projectiles. Les tirs multicolores doivent \u00eatre esquiv\u00e9s et les tirs verts peuvent \u00eatre renvoy\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">La difficult\u00e9 vient autant de la pr\u00e9cision demand\u00e9e que de la m\u00e9canique de profondeur de champ. Certains passages fonctionnent comme un gallery-shooter : les ennemis apparaissent sur deux plans diff\u00e9rents (avant-plan et arri\u00e8re-plan). C\u2019est une m\u00e9canique essentielle \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser pour survivre, et elle donne une vraie identit\u00e9 au gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">Les boss, eux, ont des patterns reconnaissables, mais jamais dans le m\u00eame ordre, ce qui rend leur lecture difficile et demande beaucoup de concentration. Globalement, le jeu mise davantage sur l\u2019esquive et la patience que sur l\u2019offensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">Entre chaque mission, un marchand permet d\u2019am\u00e9liorer son personnage gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019argent gagn\u00e9. Le pixel art est somptueux, fluide, d\u00e9taill\u00e9, avec une vraie personnalit\u00e9. L\u2019ambiance cyberpunk fonctionne parfaitement, et les personnages ont un style tr\u00e8s marqu\u00e9. On joue clairement pour le gameplay, pas pour le sc\u00e9nario, et cela correspond totalement \u00e0 ce type de run and gun old-school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">Le jeu comporte six missions. Je l\u2019ai termin\u00e9 en environ deux heures et demie en novice, et un joueur exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 peut le finir en un peu plus d\u2019une heure. C\u2019est court, mais la vraie dur\u00e9e de vie repose sur la rejouabilit\u00e9 : scoring, difficult\u00e9s sup\u00e9rieures, et un mode arcade o\u00f9 l\u2019on n\u2019a qu\u2019une seule vie pour finir les niveaux. C\u2019est un jeu pens\u00e9 pour ceux qui aiment se perfectionner et refaire encore et encore les missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\">Pour quelqu\u2019un qui ne souhaite faire qu\u2019une seule partie en novice, le prix peut sembler \u00e9lev\u00e9.
